Fees
How we charge for pension advice
Fees reflect document volume, scheme complexity, and whether you need a single written plan or an ongoing cashflow model. Figures below are guidance for UK financial advice and consulting engagements — not product subscriptions.
| Consultation | Typical fee basis | What influences the quote |
|---|---|---|
| Retirement Income Review | From £850 (individual); couples quoted after the introductory call | Number of schemes, defined benefit involvement, urgency of retirement date |
| Workplace Pension Health Check | From £420 for an individual member; employer reviews quoted separately | Scheme size, whether staff briefing materials are required |
| Pension Consolidation Advice | Quote after we list each scheme’s features and exit charges | Guarantees at risk, transfer paperwork, overseas elements |
| Later-Life Cashflow Planning | From £1,100 | Care-cost scenarios, multiple income sources, family gift modelling |
What the introductory call covers
A short no-fee conversation confirms whether we are the right practice for your question. We outline likely documents, a fee range, and whether a specialist transfer assessment is required under UK rules.
Payment timing
For fixed-scope reviews we usually invoice 40% on engagement and the balance when the written report is delivered. Quote-based consolidation work may require a larger share once scheme valuations arrive.
Not included in advice fees
